Our congratulations to Dave Snow (PhD 2014) was selected by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies/Proquest-UMI Subcommittee of the University of Calgary's Graduate Scholarship Committee as for the 2015 national CAGS-UMI Distinguished Dissertation Award Competition.

Dave's dissertation is entitled, Failure to Reproduce: Assisted Reproductive Technology Policy in Canada and convocated in June 2014 and was written under the supervision of Dr. Rainer Knopff.

The University is permitted to nominate only one dissertation from all those defended in the Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

Currently, Dave holds a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at Novel Tech Ethics in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University, and will be taking up a tenure track position with the Department of Political Science at Guelph University on July 2015.
